Family Tribute
Timothy was an exceptionally unique person. He has been described by those who knew him as one of the kindest, most gentle souls. The depth of his intellect was profound. He loved engaging in deep conversation. His passions included philosophy, literature, writing, cooking, listening to music, and playing guitar.
He had an insatiable hunger for expanding his knowledge. He took philosophy, religion, and literature courses at Hillsdale College. His favorite authors were C.S. Lewis, Dostoevsky, Jordan Peterson, Nietzsche, and Thoreau. He was naturally athletic and enjoyed disc golf, running, and working out. In his youth, he played travel hockey and varsity tennis.
He loved being outdoors in the solitude of nature, especially in Autumn, his favorite season. He liked to make people laugh with his great sense of humor. Watching a good comedy with his family with endless amounts of sweets was one of his joys in life. He had a great love of animals and a special bond with the children in our family, especially with his future stepson, Lane.
He was devoted to his family and above all, his faith in Jesus Christ. His greatest purpose proved to be spreading the Word and sharing scripture in the hope of helping others know God.
He was truly a giver of peace and love, and his beautiful light will forever shine down on us from heaven.
His battle with addiction is finally over.
No more darkness,
No more pain,
No more despair.
Resting now in God’s embrace.
