Obituary of Harvey Allen Carpenter
January 26, 1936 – July 9, 2019
Harvey Carpenter. Age 83 of Lincoln Park.
Beloved husband of Ellen Carpenter. Loving father of Gail (Steve) Walton, Sandra (Bruce) Dunn and David (Jan) Carpenter. Dearest grandfather of Christopher (Lori) Walton, Bradley (Ashley) Walton, Jeff (Julie) Pollen, Jamie (Bill) James and Samantha (Matt) Burke. Dear brother of Linda Hanson. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Family Tribute
Harvey was employed with Cadillacs (on Clark Street) for 30 years as a General Foreman before retiring in 1985. In his free time, he loved to fish and hunt. Occasionally, he would visit a casino to make an extraction. He loved to spend time at their place up North. He received an award for putting out a fire in the paint department at Cadillacs. Harvey was known as being a kind man who was nonjudgmental. He loved and adored his wife. He was a great dad and a good friend to everyone that he met.
