Family Tribute

Johnny S. Miller was born on August 17, 1933 in Lynch, Kentucky. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953. While in the Army, he was selected to play on the Army’s baseball team. He enjoyed playing baseball, but one of his fondest memories was having a hotdog with Al Kaline.

Johnny enjoyed golf, gardening, and sports — especially the Detroit Tigers, Lions and ALL University of Kentucky teams. Additionally, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He had two loves in his life; Myrtle and Barbara, who each blessed him with families whom he welcomed with all the love and understanding as if they had been his own.

Johnny was a gentleman and embodied the true spirit of Christianity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and always did so with a smile on his face.

He will be deeply missed. In his honor, instead of flowers, please make a donation to either Charity Baptist Church located in Brownstown or to Shelter to Home in Wyandotte.
