Gerard “Dewey” Dumont. Age 81 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley Jean Dumont. Devoted father of Michael (Gina) Dumont and Brian (Lisa) Dumont. Grandfather of Kevin (Liz) Dumont, Melissa (Ray) Trabulsy and Brianna Dumont. Great grandfather of Ronan Trabulsy.
Gerard loved to travel. He and Shirley took many trips together, Hawaii being their favorite. He also loved to fish and spend time with his family. He was a handyman and enjoyed being able to help his children and grandchildren with home improvement projects. Gerard was an employee of McLouth Steel for 34 years.
