January 27, 1932 – January 26, 2019.
Edward L. Korte. Age 86 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of Carol for 59 years. Loving father of Albert, Philip, Ann (Patrick) Sheehan, Christine (Tony) Wilk and Edward Jr. (Ronda). Dearest grandfather of Kayla Korte, Alyssa Sheehan, Chelsea Wilk, Craig Korte, Brian Sheehan, Chad Wilk and Alex Korte. Ed was a gentle and humble soul. He loved his God, his wife of over 59 years and was proud of his 5 children and what great parents they were. He particularly loved to hear the news of his 7 grandchildren's activities. He was intelligent earning BS in Physics and MS in Mathematics. Ed was employed at Boeing Aircraft, Northrop Aviation and Ford Motor Co. He was a proud member of the K of C. He loved Political Talk Shows, Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and playing Hand and Foot. He was often found doodling mathematic equations. We know the Angels Will Welcome You To Paradise. We Miss You Already. God Speed Dearest Ed.
