Obituary of Margaret M. Fountain
May 25, 1922 – November 26, 2018
Margaret M. Fountain. Age 96 of Taylor.
Margaret Fountain (nee Spaight), also known as Peggy Margaret Mary Elizabeth Spaight Fountain (PMMESF), passed away November 26, 2018, after a long and happy 96-year life. Peggy is the widow of Daniel (dec. 2000), mother of son James, daughter Jean Montgomery and her husband Rob, and son T.J. and his wife Michele. Peggy enjoyed watching the upbringing of her seven grandchildren (Chris, Nick, Jason, Melissa, Danny, Jeffrey, and Michael) and four great-grandchildren (Alison, Madison, Kira and Lane Margaret). Peggy was passionate about her husband Dan, her family, her singing, and her card-playing, not necessarily in that order. She was a proud member of the St. Francis Xavier Glee Club, and a highly sought-after slots player in Las Vegas, where she would often disappear for many months. She enjoyed the Detroit area sports teams, and may be the best coach to have never thrown a football.
