Obituary of Kimberly Ann Sliz
February 26, 1961 – August 2, 2018
Kimberly A. Sliz. Age 57 of Riverview.
Loving mother of Allison (Richard) Deptula and Jason (Diana) Teaster. Dearest daughter of Anna Lawson. Dear grandmother of Hailey, Chloe, Richard and Wyatt. Sister of Steven Sliz, Johnny Sliz, James Sliz, Douglas Sliz, Vicki Cantrell and the late Benjamin Sliz.
FAMILY TRIBUTE
Kimberly Sliz grew up in Detroit, and Sumpter Township, Michigan with her 5 brothers - Ben, Douglas, Jimmy, Steven, Johnny and sister, Vicki. She was a loving and caring Sister. Kim became a Mother to Allison Lynn in 1978 and Jason Michael in 1980. She was an amazing mother who loved and cared for her children and taught them many values. She also loved her son in law Richard and daughter in law Diana so much. She became a grandma when Hailey Rose was born in 2001, then Chloe Elizabeth in 2006 and finally her sweet boys Richard Anthony and Wyatt Gerard in 2011. She was a loving and devoted “Mimi” to her grandbabies. Always having fun and supporting them in all their many activities.
Mimi loved fun trips together, fishing, sleepovers, holidays, and so many memories made just spending quality time together. She was a wonderful Aunt to all her nieces and nephews and their kids! Kim valued family. She had so much love for all of those around her. She loved all the friends of her kids and grandkids just like family. Kim worked for over 20 years for Oakwood Home Care, where she made many lifelong friends who became family. Kim loved to travel. The Great Smoky Mountains, Arizona, and the great state of Michigan were a few of her favorite places to explore. But her most favorite thing to do was cruise! She enjoyed many cruises in her lifetime. Kim was a person you could always turn to. She was a loyal friend and full of love and support. She was a good listener and always full of heartfelt advice. Kimberly Ann Sliz was loved by so many and her beautiful smile, and the way her love touched the hearts of many, will never be forgotten.
