Obituary of Kip Robert Reichert

November 23, 1956 - June 2, 2018

Kip R. Reichert.  Age 61 of Dearborn Heights.

Beloved husband of Teda Reichert.  Loving father of Jason (Deanna) Scott, Brian (Jennifer) Scott and Kip Reichert II.  Dear brother of Tim Reichert, Kim Macha and Kevin Reichert.  Also survived by 7 grandchildren.

FAMILY TRIBUTE

Kip Robert Reichert was truly an amazing man. Never have I ever met another person with as much drive, dedication, love and devotion as my father had. He had a never quit, never give up attitude that he carried with him every day no matter how hard things got. Kip was also a very honest man. He always made sure to help his friends and family to the very best of his ability and never BS’d or gave the runaround to anyone. No matter what the question or problem was, Kip always knew the right answer – he was a real life jack of all trades.

Kip went to school at Schaffer High School in Southgate, Michigan during the early 70’s. After High School, Kip began his career as an auto-mechanic with the Shell Company. He was a mechanic with Shell for 40+ years where he also obtained his Master Mechanic’s License. One of the best mechanics you could ever meet, Kip always made sure his customers left happy. His dedication to his company, his co-workers and his clients is what made everyone love him so much.

Kip lived at work, it was his home away from home. When he wasn’t at work, he did have a few hobbies that he enjoyed. A few of his favorites were fishing, boating, traveling, and spending time with his family.

I think my dad would want to be remembered for how much everyone meant to him. He had so many people that cared for him dearly and so many people he loved to call friends. It meant more to him than anyone could ever know.

What we remember most of him is how amazing of a man he really was. We used to call him “Mr. Amazing” because he just kept going. Even when he was very sick, he never stopped and kept pushing himself for his family and friends. A loving husband, amazing father, grandad, friend, and real life man of steel. We will always remember Kip for everything he has given us and all the love and support he has shown us throughout the years.
