Obituary of Margaret Delight Manhard
June 11, 1932 – April 28, 2018
Margaret D. Manhard. Age 85 of Wyandotte.
Beloved wife of the late John F. Manhard. Loving mother of Michael (Kimberly) Manhard, Deborah Nice, Susan (Jim) Small, Lisa (Gary) Gallant, William (Beth) Manhard, Nancy (Joseph) Popp and Barbara (Roger) Linenfelser. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Marie Jordan.
FAMILY TRIBUTE
Raised as a young girl and only child in Southwest Michigan, Margaret learned many things about nature and family life. As a young adult, moved to the city of Detroit which provided jobs at the railroad offices for a new life. Together they enjoyed Tiger baseball and were active members of the Masonic Temple. After high school graduation Margaret joined her parents and took a job at the railroad office as a weigh bill typist. She met the love of her life John, married, and had eight beautiful children! Margaret loved her family, travel, laughter, sports and movies. She loved to bake and always had a great smile! Margaret’s cross to bear was losses of her husband and daughter. She also had long hard fought battle with arthritis for many years. Right to the end she kept the faith and her family close by her side.
