Stephen "Steve" Toltesi. Age 93 of Allen Park.
Steve passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024. He was born on July 18, 1931, to the late Istvan and Maria Toltesi in Hungary.
Steve was a Hungarian immigrant who built a beautiful life in America. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Toltesi, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. He was the loving father of Margaret (Tony) Wieszkowiak, Stephen (Lori) Toltesi and Franklin Toltesi. Steve was preceded in death by sons Stephen Joseph and David James. He was the dearest grandfather to Jennifer Wieszkowiak, Tony Wieszkowiak, Nick Wieszkowiak, Jason Doran, Sara Domigan, Stephen Toltesi and Leah Toltesi. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Landon Domigan, Nolan Domigan, Andi Kate Wieszkowiak, Levi Wieszkowiak, Charlotte Wieszkowiak, Carter Wieszkowiak and an expected great-granddaughter.
Steve is survived by his dear brother, Laszlo Toltesi, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Julianna Toltesi, Jozsef Toltesi, Kalman Toltesi and Ferenc Toltesi.
Steve's life was marked by his devotion to family and his enduring love for his late wife, Betty. He had a passion for gardening, wine making, and delighted in making homemade sausage for his friends and loved ones. These hobbies were a testament to his Hungarian heritage and his joy in sharing his culture with others.
Steve will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the memories he created with his loved ones, and the traditions he passed down to future generations.
May he rest in peace.
