Obituary of Diana Lave
May 21, 1945 – November 8, 2024
Mary Diana Lave age 79 resident of Grosse Ile, Michigan passed away on November 8, 2024 in the comfort of her home. Diana was born in Liverpool, England. At 18 months old she traveled by boat to the United States with her parents Joseph and Mary Kalosa. Diana was the oldest of seven children. Growing up on Pine street in Wyandotte, Michigan. She grew up next-door to her now husband of 60 years, James Lave. They share three children together, Denise (Robert) Camilleri, David (Nicole Collins) Lave and Jennifer Stanko. Diana graduated magna cum laude of her nursing class from Monroe Community College. She spent the following years as an RN at Harper hospital, a beloved co-worker and friend of many. After retiring her joys included golfing, cooking, traveling, hosting card clubs and spending time with her loved ones. Diana was the dearest grandmother "Ma-kee" of Brittany Stanko, Nicholas Camilleri, Zachary Camilleri and Evan Herge. Dear sister of Linda Yurkovich, Kathy Nordwall, Joseph Kalosa, John Kalosa and Patricia Kalosa. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Mary Kalosa and sister Sandy Darhiem.
