~Family Tribute~
Iain was born in Larkhall, Scotland on April 8th 1939 to John and Janet Miller. He was the second born son (Tom). Iain and his wife Marion were married in Scotland on March 14th, 1963. They’ve been married for 61 years as of March 2024. With their firstborn (Karen), they left Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1965 where their middle-child David was born. In 1968, the family again immigrated to the United States and called it “Home”. This is where their youngest (John) was born in 1970. They were also blessed with two grandchildren Lindsay & David. Iain worked at the Ford Motor Company in Woodhaven, Michigan for over 30 years where
he crafted his skill in Tool & Die. Iain enjoyed golf outings with friends and attending his annual U of M football games and tailgating. Known as the “Quiet Man” by many, he was the most wonderful and caring person you could meet. All of his life, Iain had a special fondness for dogs and they for him. Iain’s fondest memories were made while spending time with his wife and family. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Elara Hospice and Corewell Health Private duty for the exceptional care they provided our Dad.
