Obituary of John Bodary
February 25, 1930 – March 28, 2024
John Bodary. Age 94 of Dearborn.
Beloved husband of Carol W. Bodary. Loving father of Maryanne (Jim) Bellaire, Lydia Watson Pinney (Jay Pinney), Valerie Watson (Duane Pitcher), Alyssa (Dennis) Jones, Tom Watson, and Joe Watson. Dearest grandfather of Kelsey, AJ, TJ, Kenzie, Nick, Anna, Ian, Annemarie, Katie, and Elizabeth. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren with another one on the way.
Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth's in Detroit, on Canfield at Noon, April 6, 2024. John will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on April 13, 2024 with his immediate family in attendance.

John was an extraordinary, loving human being with the best infectious laugh. He loved his family dearly and completely, particularly doting on the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John had an enormous heart that also impacted many lives around the world with his passion and teaching of Polarity, that he practiced right up until his final month with us, at 94 years of age!
John excelled in many careers including teacher, coach, therapist, and Polarity practitioner. He is referred to as the “Father of Polarity” in Michigan and has a world-wide network of friends and followers. His religious beliefs and practices run deep and we are joyous to know he is now in the hands of God. John will be greatly missed by the numerous lives he has touched.
