William Clarence “Still Bill” Conat. Age 67 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of Kathy Conat. Loving father of Jeff Maggard, Amanda (Robert Llanes) Maggard, Duane Hicks, Diane Hicks-Gaab, Denise Santiago, and Donna Prusinski. Dearest grandfather of Kayla, Charly, and Morgan. Dear brother of Margaret (the late John; and daughter the late Patricia) Butler , Kathleen Bennett, Raymond (Donna) Conat, Colleen (Larry) Lessley. Also survived by his dearest friends Rosa and David Ratliff as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Patricia (Diamond) Conat.
William appreciated his position as chairman of United Auto Workers for Ford, as he enjoyed being argumentative in the most productive way possible. In his spare time, Bill loved to go bowling and to sing karaoke. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for future designation.
