Elaine Louise Pero. Age 80 of Wyandotte.
Beloved sister of Lucille Spade, Mary Ann LaForest, Charlene (Dennis) Dunnigan, Sister Beth Pero, the late Donna Pero, the late Dorothy Bolla, the late Charles Pero, the late William Pero and the late James Pero. Loving aunt of numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dearest daughter of Charles and Grace Pero.
Elaine was a caring Kindergarten teacher with Detroit Public Schools for 40 years. She was a shining example of James 1 verse 27, known for helping people through many charities. Elaine helped start Detroit organizations Day House, Alternative for Girls, and Pax Christi. Her family will also remember her for being most generous and caring to them all. She researched the family genealogy and kept track of all the new babies as they were born. She loved to take daily walks and to travel.
