Obituary of Donald J. Chester
January 13, 1948 - August 17, 2023
Donald J. Chester. Age 75 of River Rouge.
Loving father of Don (Lori) Chester. Dearest grandfather of Nathan and Kate Chester. Dear brother of Linda (Mike) DiCarlo, Jerry (Joan) Chester and Mary Kay Cora.
Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Anna (Williams) Chester; and brothers Raymond Chester, William Chester and Michael “Mickey” Chester.
Donald was a proud Marine who served two terms in Vietnam. A boilermaker by trade, he enjoyed spending time with his fellow boilermakers for lunch once a month. In his spare time, Donald liked to watch football or have a drink (but usually together), and could be found attending the Marine Corps Birthday Ball every November. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
