Family Tribute
Scott graduated from Waterford Mott H.S. in 1989. Immediately after, he joined the army, Where he trained as a paratrooper, then eventually a cook. After he was injured during training exercise. He also had the honor of training new recruits during “Operation Desert Storm.” When he finished his term in the Army, he spent 7 years in the reserves.
After the Army, he mainly worked in the industrial field. Until he moved up north in 2003 to start a new life in Harrison, then Houghton Lake where he worked in retail for a number of years.
Scott loved to fish, loved animals, and was especially fond of his two cats. He also loved the great outdoors, and enjoyed bon fires in his backyard. He loved to cook for family and friends when he had the opportunity, and also enjoyed tapping his creative side by doing home improvement projects around the house, as well as helping others with theirs.
Scott was much loved by his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known to give even when it meant he had to go without, and he loved to make people laugh, even though he was trying to “weather a storm” on the inside.
Scott will be sorely missed as he touched many lives over the course of his short lifetime.
