~~ Family Tribute ~~
Kathy attended grade school at St. Nick's Parochial and Struther's High School from 1961-1964. After attending the next two years at Youngstown University, Ohio, she taught second grade for two years at St. Nick's.
After getting married and having two children, Dave and Jeannie, she began teaching again as a substitute in the Parochial schools in the Downriver Area. Kathy was St. Roch's Parish Council President for a number of years, again teaching Catechism at St. Roch's. She worked for several years until 2006 at Meadowbank Daycare, then Renkim, then at Duty Refund.
Some of her favorite things to do were going on cruises, bowling, and playing pinochle. She loved making peanut butter cookies, giving the best hugs, and making bobalki for Christmas dinner. She also was known for making amazing birthday and anniversary cards to send to as many of her friends as she could. She would like to be remembered as a trustworthy, deeply caring, friendly, sincere, honest, truthful person who always had a Kleenex. Kathy always put other people's needs before her own.
Memorial donations are greatly appreciated to American Cancer Society.
