Obituary of Christine Lassen

July 22, 1965 - May 13, 2023

Christine Lassen. Age 57 of Southgate.

Beloved wife of Jeff Lassen. Loving mother of Molly (Page) Havasy and Marty Lassen. Dearest grandmother of Ronan Havasy. Dear sister of Debbie (Frank) Douglas and Jimmy (Tunde) Hatala. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.

~Family Tribute~

Christine graduated from Lincoln Park High School in 1983. After graduation she became an EMT and continued working in this field for a few years until she became a mother.  She enjoyed being home with her children as a stay at home mom. After a few years, she began working in the Sterile Reprocessing Department at Beaumont Hospital in Taylor, Michigan. 

In her spare time, it wasn’t uncommon to find her at home spending time with her family or curled up on the couch with Sam, her beloved dog, watching True Crime TV.  She also enjoyed listening to music and shopping. 

She will be remembered for her brutal honesty, free spirit attitude and for living in the moment.  Anyone who knew Christine, knew what love and devotion she had for her family.  She enjoyed having her family and friends over for the holidays and hosting parties.  

One thing Christine was known for, was her words of wisdom.  She would make statements such as “Make smart choices” and “Here for a good time, not a long time.”  

She will truly be missed by her friends and family.
