~ Family Tribute ~
We are incredibly heartbroken to announce the passing of a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Jeffrey (Jeff) Scott Vaughn. He was born on January 1, 1969 at Grace Hospital in Detroit. He passed away from a short illness on February 16, 2023 at the age of 54. In 1987 at 18 years old, Jeffrey graduated Woodhaven High School and by the age of 19 years old he started his own limousine service called The Pink Flamingo Limousine Services which lasted until he was 21 years old. He then switched gears to soaring to new heights by enrolling in a program to train to be a flight instructor at Grosse Ile Airport. After he became a flight instructor he began flying cargo in Michigan, and then from England to France for 6 months. After this he landed a job at NetJets becoming Captain Vaughn for 22 years. During his free time he loved being with his family and pets and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, the Detroit tigers and loved listening to his favorite band, The Beatles. Jeffrey was known for his quiet and shy personality but those who had the chance to know him know there is nothing he wouldn’t do for those he loved, his family and friends. The family will be holding a memorial service and information will be shared at a later date.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
