Tony Alfred Waquan. Age 53 of Taylor.

Loving father of Tonee, Angelina, Kodey, Marina, and Leilani. Dearest grandfather of Odesza, Oaklynn, Owen, Theo, Landon, Grayson, and Lorenzo. Dear brother of Charles Butler, Raymond Butler, and Trina Llanes. Cherished son of Lawrence (Linda) Waquan and Donna (the late Charles) Butler. Long-time companion of Christine.

Tony A. Waquan, age 52 of Harbor City, California, passed away on February 6th, 2023 after a tough four year battle with illness.

Tony was born on June 28, 1970 in Harbor City, California, where he was raised before moving to Michigan in his adult life. He was an incredible father, husband, grandfather, uncle, son, and friend. Tony was the loving father of 5 children; Tonee, Marina, Kodey, Angelina, and Leilani Waquan. He leaves behind 7 beautiful grandchildren whom he cherished so much: Odesza, Theodore, Oaklynn, Owen, Landon, Grayson, and Lorenzo. He was the loving son of Donna Butler and Lawrence Waquan. Brother to Raymond Butler, Charles Butler Jr, Trina Llanes and Kodi Waquan. 

Tony was a very stubborn yet caring man. He always made sure he did whatever he could to help and support his friends and family. Even if he didn't know you, he'd find a way to help out. He was a well spirited individual, even when he was dealing with the hardest battles he had to overcome. No matter how much he was struggling, he always tried his best to see the silver lining. Tony will be forever loved and missed by many. He holds a special place in all of our hearts that no one will ever be able to replace.
