David Earl Rawlins Jr. Age 65 of Gibraltar.
David Earl Rawlins Jr., husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend to all, passed peacefully at the age of 65 on December 29, 2022 with his family by his side.
David is survived by his wife Valerie, 3 sons David Earl Rawlins III (Grace), Derek Edmond Rawlins and Daniel Evan Rawlins (Ashley), grandson Gage and granddaughter Aurora. His siblings, Dorothy Rawlins, Mary Rawlins, Paul Rawlins (DeeDee), Donna Pregitzer and Richard Rawlins.
He was a tradesman in his healthy years. He enjoyed his work and the sense of community that it brought with his fellow tradesman, customers and others he met along the way.
He was diagnosed with Kennedy’s Disease in his mid-40’s. He learned how to adapt. When circumstances changed, he changed with them, and always with a smile. He lived life with a spirit that we should all aspire to.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
