Obituary of John Thomas Banick
June 18, 1933 – November 1, 2022
John Thomas “Jack” Banick, age 89, of Wyandotte, died peacefully in Trenton on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
Beloved brother of Joseph Banick. Loving uncle to Christopher (Kari) and Elizabeth (Thomas). Dearest grand-uncle to Samuel, Aaron, Joseph and Nathaniel. Preceded in death by his parents; John and Mary, and sister; Mary Ann Baker.
Jack served in the Army during the Korean War between 1953 and 1955. After his time in the service, he worked for Great Lakes Steel, from which he retired after over 30 years. In his spare time, Jack was an avid fan of all Detroit sports.
Jack will be missed by all who knew him.
