Heather Nicole Militello. Age 42 of Brownstown.
Beloved wife of Mark Militello. Loving mother of Austin, Jared, Luke and Aidan. Dearest grandmother of Mya and Anita Militello. Cherished daughter of Rochelle Durocher, the late Phillip Swisher, David Durocher and Maryanne Swisher. Dearest sister of Brandon (Kristee) Swisher, Ryan (Anna) Durocher and Dawn (Dave) Bottenhorn. Daughter-in-law of Santo and Cathie Militello. Sister-in-law of Amanda (Jason) Gooding and Nick Militello. Also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Heather was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma) in early 2008. With four children and battling cancer, she pursued her nursing degree and became an RN in 2013. She worked in the Emergency Department at both Garden City Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital.
