Obituary of Pearl Irene Kamin

November 29, 1932 - October 14, 2021

Pearl Irene Kamin.  Age 88 of Flat Rock. 

Pearl Irene Kamin (nee Vereb) of Flat Rock, Michigan was born November 29, 1932, to the late Paul and Loretta Vereb. On October 14, 2021, God took Pearl (88) into his loving arms from this earthly realm. She is in her eternal home and now her journey is complete. She is joyfully in the Lord’s presence with her parents, her loving husband Charles and her much missed oldest son, Richard. Pearl was married to the late Charles for 56 years at his passing in 2006. 

Pearl was also predeceased by brothers-in-law, Walter Siemers, Ralph Much, and Leland Prill; sisters-in-law Myrtle Much, and Mary Prill; former sister-in-law Sandra Vereb; nephews-in-law Dennis Much and Bradford Zabik and special friend Jack Dennis. 

Pearl will be remembered with love by those waiting to join the heavenly celebration; her loving daughter-in-law Belen Kamin; her loving son Michael (Dottie) Kamin of Brownstown; her loving daughter Robin (Michael) Bales of Fayetteville, NC.; her loving brother Danny (Yvonne) Vereb of Johannesburg;sisters-in-law Barbara Siemers and Shirley (Bill) Zabik; 13 grandchildren all coming in from the east, west and south coasts;26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; her much loved 2 nieces; 3 great nieces; and 1 great nephew; several nephews-in-law and several nieces-in-law; her fur babies and many other friends who will remember her fondly.

Pearl was a working mother and grandmother for many years. She retired from Michigan Bell / AT&T after 31 years of devoted service in 1988.

Pearl was a deeply devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She didn't like to cook that much, but she really enjoyed baking. All those around her will easily attest to her great cookie recipes and especially her coconut cake! She always greeted everyone with a smile even if she couldn’t hear what you were saying. AND those closest to her, knew she never met a donut she didn’t like.

Pearl’s love for Our Lord, her family, friends, fur babies and music from Mr. O’Donnell were just a few of the things that would bring out her smile that would light up the darkest of rooms.

Pearl was a faithful servant of Our Lord and walked in the path of righteousness. She was a faithful member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brownstown, where she served as Deacon for many years.

Much loved thanks go to all who helped her with her many needs through the years; especially to grandson, Steven Kamin for his selfless and compassionate loving help.

Pearl’s legacy of forgiveness, reconciliation and frankness will live on in our hearts forever. We love her beyond measure and will miss her more than words could adequately convey.
