Dearest Joe, and family, we just learned of Patsey's passing, and it is with deep sympathy that we grieve with you as the world has lost an angel, but God has called her home. We have the fondest memories of this most precious sweet lady with the grace and genuine gentleness rarely found today. Patsey was a blessing to everyone that knew her or that she came in contact with. We were so proud of her for giving herself to the medical world , and oh what a blessing to her patients she was. She had so much love to share, and her kind words were always sweet as honey. We pray for God's comfort to sustain you Joe, along with your precious family, for we know that your hearts are hurting. Our Eternal Father is taking care of Patsey now, so she's in good hands.... King Jesus has called her home so we rejoice for her now, and oh how happy she must be to have precious Timmy in her arms again! Lord we ask that you give Joe and his family a supernatural measure of love, comfort, and healing of their hurting hearts. Strengthen them, and give them favor as only You know their every need Lord. We pray Your word back to You Lord in Psalm 91 and declare and decree it done in the name of Jesus. Protect them Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. We are so thankful to have had her love and friendship for such a short time, and we will all be together one day soon, to rejoice together as we dance on the streets of gold...Praise God for His promises of Eternal life!!!! We will cherish our fond memories and count ourselves blessed to have known such a beautiful lady, dedicated wife and mother, grandmother, registered nurse, friend to all, and woman of God!!! Rest in Peace precious one...when we get to Heaven we want one of those apple pies that only you can make!!!!

Dear Ferrell Family, I am so sorry to hear of Patsy's passing. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever met at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. She was always willing to help you out, no matter how busy she was and working in the ER, you knew she was always busy. She had a heart of gold and a beautiful smile. She will truly be missed. Keep your precious memories of her close in your hearts. Fly with the Angels in Heaven Patsy. Love you.

I had the pleasure of working along side this strong, wonderful, kindhearted woman for almost ten years in the ER. I trusted her, respected her, and will never forget her. She loved what she did, and brought a smile with her everyday. She adored her family more than anything, and was an amazing friend. Rest In Peace Pat, you will be missed by so many.

I had the good fortune of working with Patsy Ferrell at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital for the thirteen years between 1985-98. I was an emergency physician and Patsy was a lead clinical nurse, and together we cared for thousands of adults and children through those years. While admittedly that was some time ago, in all the years that followed I never forgot the kindness, empathy, compassion, humanism and professionalism she brought to every patient encounter. She treated everyone with respect, and aimed for the best care possible. We all became better through working with her; she was a role model to learners and peers alike. Truly a lovely person and a consummate professional. Her passing is a loss to so many, and yet I know that her memory will serve as a continued source of inspiration and peace to her family and all who knew her. Andrew Barnosky Ann Arbor, Michigan

To Patsy's Family: Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of dear Patsy. Although I am a coworker from years past, my memory of her is clear and vivid. She had the gift of knowing just the best and right thing to say and do in any situation, even when things were crumbling around her. I could see in her eyes, as she spoke and listened, her ability to understand people and what they needed at just the right time. I am very saddened to hear of her passing. God bless you all.

So many sweet and beautiful memories of a beautiful woman inside and out. Hard to mention just one...just being in her presence was such a joy. Her smile , her humor, her caring ways, the ways she touched so many souls made me realize there are truly real angels on earth. Your work on earth has come to its final destination my friend but your memory and your love will forever live in our hearts. Patsy was true example on how to live life...people may not remember names but they will remember how you made them feel. I will forever miss you Patsy. I am better for knowing you, better for loving you, better for having met you. May you be as blessed in the next life, my friend, as I was in this one by knowing you. Our bodies are mere vessels in life it what we do from birth to our final resting place that matters....your spirit will live on in all of the lives you have touched....I will not say good bye to you because this is just temporary, rather, see you soon ...I will not cry, but will rejoice for you are in God's arms and in paradise, where we will all meet one day. Patsy was a genuine soul, a awesomely loving woman, and the most lovable person that I ever had the privilege to know. My family and I will always be grateful for Patsy allowing us into her life. We had the privilege of knowing Patsy from the time my wife Dawn and I were in diapers. Patsy will be forever in our hearts, and we hope to be half the person she was and to be as loving and caring for people as she was. Joe your family will be in our prayers as we lift all of you up.
