Larry Lee Janes. Age 65 of Livonia.
Beloved husband of Diane. Loving father of Jessica (David) Marcou and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Janes. Dearest grandfather of Caleb and Eliza. Dear brother of Rose Keller and Marylea Johnson. Brother-in-law of Judith Janes. Preceded in death by parents Joe and Evelyn Janes and siblings Joseph Janes, MaryLou Janes and Jimmy Janes.
Larry Janes was a long time IACP (International Association of Culinary Professionals) member. He was a talented chef, caterer, and specialty store owner. He wrote the "Tastebuds" column for the Livonia Observer Newspapers for a number of years. He was an avid gardener, once featured on the Livonia Garden Walk. He served on a local civic commission. Loved his trips to Italy. Brightened the worlds of everyone he met. Most of all, he loved his family, relatives and friends. He made the world more "delicious."
C.O.T.S.(homeless shelter) held a special place in his heart.
