Obituary of Margaret A. Butz

May 22, 1947 – November 17, 2020

Margaret A. Butz.  Age 73 of Wyandotte.

Beloved wife of the late Fredrick Butz.  Dear sister of Robert (Tanya) Holman, Phyllis (Jerry) Poparad, Brian Duane, Vicki Molinaro and Laura (Larry) Nuttman.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Margaret was a teacher at Wyandotte Roosevelt High School for over 30 years. 

Family Tribute

Peggy loved her family and friends. They were the most important part of her life. Traveling with those loved ones was her passion. She was always ready for a new adventure. She and her late husband Fred traveled the country, near and far, to ride the roller coasters. They were members of the Roller Coaster Enthusiasts Club. 

Peggy and Fred traveled to Disney World dozens of times over the years, each visit being new and exciting. They loved taking those who were visiting Disney for their first. 

Peggy was also an annual pass holder at the Henry Ford and every chance she had, she would visit there or Greenfield Village, always with friends or family. 

Anyone who met Peggy had nothing but good things to say about her. She was fun-loving, compassionate, empathetic, and giving of her love or helping in any way she could.

She taught Math at Roosevelt High School for 33 years and made a difference in so many lives over those years. She made lasting friendships with her fellow teachers and after retirement continued to hold those friendships dear. 

Our hearts are broken with her passing but we are better people for having had her in our lives. 

Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
