Obituary of Thomas John Majewski

January 3, 1948 – June 13, 2020

Thomas John Majewski. Age 72 of Dearborn.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Majewski. Loving father of Jennifer (Mike) Morland and Krystal (Jesse) McIntyre. Dearest grandfather of Adaline Morland and Alden McIntyre. Dear brother of Larry (Karen) Majewski and brother-in-law of Nancy (Frank) Orban. Preceded in death by his parents John and Verna Majewski.

Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory located within the Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.

Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Vietnam Veterans of America. 

Family Tribute

Thomas Majewski was born on January 3, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, where he attended Catholic school for his primary and secondary education. He was drafted by the United States Army in 1967 and served as a member of the 17th cavalry/73rd air airborne, where he trained to be a paratrooper during the Vietnam War. After receiving an honorable discharge from the military, he worked in a bakery, then as a district manager at Safety Kleen, and a distributor for Pepperidge Farm for 15 years. He married his wife Kathy, of 39 years, who he loved dearly, in 1978. The two met at a singles club and went to Frankenmuth for their first date. They lived together in Dearborn, MI where they raised two daughters, Jennifer and Krystal. Tom enjoyed watching auto racing, working on model cars, and most of all, going to classic car shows and cruises in his 1965 Mercury Comet Convertible. One of the highlights of the year for him was always the Woodward Dream Cruise. Tom and Kathy loved taking rides together down Hines drive in their Comet and always enjoyed seeing the deer at dusk. Tom and Kathy became grandparents in 2017 to a granddaughter and a grandson to-be in 2020, both of which brought him so much joy.
