Richard A. Henig. Age 36 of Allen Park.
Richard passed away on June 5, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved father of Susan, Savannah, Steven and Sophia. Loving companion of Amy Upshaw. Dearest son of Carla Strait and the late Richard Henig. Dear brother of Jerry Strait, Michael Strait and Christina (Christopher) England. Grandson of Becky Henig and the late Richard Henig. Preceded in death by Great Gram Henig.
Richard loved to spend time with loved ones especially his children! His passions included creating his specialties in the Kitchen, telling stories, his dogs, swimming, bike rides, having fires, going for ice cream especially, the long anticipated first Bob Jo's of the season! He cherished gift giving and helping others and would jump at the chance to help someone in need. Richard expressed himself through music and loved making jokes.
