Obituary of Florence Bossio

September 29, 1928 – March 20, 2020

Florence Bossio.  Age 91 of Brownstown.   

Beloved wife of the late Rev. Patrick J. Bossio Sr.  Loving mother of Patrick (Robin) Bossio and Paulette (Chris) Smith.  Dearest grandmother of Patrick (Gemma) Bossio III, Daniel (Nicole) Bossio, Rachael Bossio, Joel (Lana) Bossio, Christopher (Morgan) Smith Jr. and Ryan (Jennifer) Smith.  Dear great grandmother of 11.

Family Tribute

Mom was our patriarch, prayer warrior, and defender of every great grandchild- looking person. There were no punishments for little ones when GiGi (great-grandma) was around, lol.

Words can’t do justice to the woman of God that so many knew. If it were possible to rewind the clock of time, what you would see is years upon years of grace, sweetness, and concentrated love coming from a small framed lovely lady who loved Jesus by actions first, then words. She was a humble wife to a humble man, a perfect match made in heaven. She was a natural mother to us children, who invested her time in us and always put her family and others before her own needs. Mom never had much in terms of earthly things but saw each possession as a gift to be used for the benefit of others. She was a great cook and loved to feed anyone in proximity of her busy kitchen. She led women by example and made friends easily. I can say that I never heard a word spoken by her against anyone and never heard anyone speak a word against her. I know that you loved her too. So please join me in celebrating her healing, promotion, and reunion with dad and family gone before.
