Nancy was the best friend anyone could ever have. Her favorite color was green because she said it was the color of money. I will miss our lunches together and texting back and forth. Even though she was in the hospital, the first thing she said in her text to me was to ask about my husband. On January 11th, she and her husband Jim attended a memorial luncheon for my brother-in-law, not because they knew him, but to be there for me. Nancy was always there for me and I loved her very much. My heart is broken and I will miss her more than I can say. Rest in peace my dear dear friend. Heaven has another angel. Love you always, Kim

Nancy and I have been friends since we were about 4 years old, we went to grade school together, went different high schools but not that far apart! Nancy went to St. Florian and I went to St Ladislaus, we took the bus together. She would get off at Holbrook and I would get off at Caniff (less than a mile apart). Many times we would walk all the way home from school in Hamtramack! Our parents were friends as well as the rest of our families. So many memories, we were always there for each other, to have a good laugh or a good cry. We celebrated our children and watched them become amazing adults! I will miss you dearly my friend you will always be in my heart! I always felt we were more sisters than just friends! I really love you and know that you are safe in the arms of Our Lord! So saddened to here that a wonderful wife, mother and very close friend will not be here with us to share our weekly breakfast and time together. We looked so forward to when we would be together to share our memories of our friendship over the last 40+ years. We witnessed the growth of our children and celebrated the many events we shared during those wonderful years. Nancy and her family will always be in our thoughts and prayers as we go forward throughout our lifetime. May God hold her in his arms and give her peace for evermore.
