Obituary of Larry J. Lademan
September 3, 1953-November 23, 2025
Larry J. Lademan, Age 72 of Grosse Ile, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Larry was the beloved husband and best friend of Sandi for 30 years. His life was filled with adventure-especially on the island of Kauai, a place that forever held his heart.
He was the proud father of Nick (Jen) Bader and cherished grandfather of Karlie and Lauren. Larry’s love extended to his loyal furbabies-Mimi and Gabriel, and those who have already crossed the rainbow bridge, Maggie and Maxi.
A dedicated and respected businessman, Larry was the owner of Lademan Insurance Agency, a family legacy serving the community for 78 years. His kindness, humor, and warm presence touched the lives of many. Larry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
To honor Larry’s spirit and his love for Hawaii, friends and family are invited to wear casual or Hawaiian attire as they gather to celebrate his life.
Memorial contributions in Larry’s honor are appreciated to The Downriver Foster Closet or Friends of the River Rouge Animal Shelter.

Our History
John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936. He had a strong work ethic and believed that you should never stop learning...
