TAYLOR – Garcia, Josephine of Taylor, MI, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Born on November 20, 1931 in Rogers, Josephine was the heart and soul of her family, known for her compassion and infectious smile. Beloved wife of the late Maurilio for 53 years. Loving mother of Terrence M. Garcia (Janie), Dianita R. Trongo (Steven Sr.), Mark A. Garcia (Tra-C), Pamela A. D’Aguanno (Larry Sr.), Kyle J. Garcia (Dawn) and the late Rolando M. Garcia. Dear sister of Leona Converse (Late George), Guadalupe Kasuba (Late Jim), and Consuelo Hughes (Charles). Dearest grandmother of 15. Loving great-grandmother of 20. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents Rafael Esparza and Severa Ramirez Esparza, her siblings Felicitas Cruz (Abdon), Benito Esparza (Victoria), Rafael Esparza (Wilma Sue), Louis Esparza, Miguel Esparza, Beatrice Connock (Bill), Mary Lou Pakledinaz (Martin), Rafael Esparza, and Jose Esparza.
Josephine “Josie” was a strong, independent, spiritual, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to bowl, dance, travel, visit with friends and family, and volunteered at her local church to service others. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

John Molnar, Sr. opened the Detroit Hungarian Funeral Home, now the Molnar Funeral Homes, in 1923. The funeral home began in his home until relocating across the street to it's Delray location at 8623 Dearborn Avenue, in 1936.
