Family Tribute ~
Jack J. Terpenny lived a life full of dedication, laughter and love. A proud graduate of Taylor Center High School, Class of 1971, Jack went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University — a reflection of his drive and commitment to personal growth.
He served his country honorably as a member of the United States Navy, embodying the spirit of service and patriotism that defined much of his life. After his time in the military, Jack dedicated many hardworking years to USF Holland. He proudly stood with the Teamsters for 33 years, forming lifelong friendships along the way.
But Jack was not just defined by his career or service — he was known for his larger-than-life personality and his legendary sense of humor. Whether he was cracking the perfect one-liner or telling a story that left everyone in stitches, Jack brought joy to every room he entered.
He had a true zest for life. He loved bowling, camping and belting out tunes at karaoke nights. He also had a deep appreciation for classic cars — a passion that connected him to both memories of the past and the joy of the open road.
Above all, Jack Terpenny was a man who loved deeply and lived fully. His laughter, loyalty, and warmth will never be forgotten by those lucky enough to know him.
