Ryan Christie. Age 87 of Southgate.
Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Catherine (Richard) Jaszewski, Suzanne (Christopher) Oberdorf, Sandra (Jeff) Felkowski, and Margaret Meyers. Dearest grandfather of Christie & Stacey (Jaszewski), Ryan & Kaytia (Oberdorf), Danny & Amelia (Felkowski, and Jessica & Andrew (Meyers). Great grandfather of Evan, Jasmine, Luke, Sophie, Crew, Beau and Frankie.

Ryan was born on November 5, 1937 in Canada to James Christie & Mary Ada Christie.
He emigrated to the United States in 1947 with his parents. They lived in Lincoln Park.
He apprenticed under the Tool & Die Department at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI where he worked until retirement in 1997.
Ryan married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Donovan, on October 26, 1957 and recently celebrated their 67th Anniversary. Together they had 4 daughters: Catherine (Richard) Jaszewski, Suzanne (Christopher) Oberdorf, Sandra (Jeff) Felkowski, and Margaret Meyers.
He loved to read and was able to build anything. Ryan was an avid sailor and spent much of his free time sailing on the Great Lakes.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to Christie & Stacey (Jaszewski), Ryan & Kaytia (Oberdorf), Danny & Amelia (Felkowski, and Jessica & Andrew (Meyers)
Great grandfather to Evan, Jasmine, Luke, Sophie, Crew, Beau and Frankie.
