Obituary of Roger A. Galloway

January 17, 1941 - March 15, 2018

Roger A. Galloway.  Age 77 of Wyandotte.

Beloved husband of Jean Galloway.  Loving father of Mark (Leslie) Sabo, Linda (Tim) Monday-Jones and Kevin Galloway.  Dearest grandfather of Christopher Sabo, Danielle (Kyle) Williams, Derek Monday and Tyler Sabo.  Dear brother of Jerri (Greg) Herman and Paul Szekley.  Great grandfather of Peyton, Bentley and Charlee.  Preceded in death by brother David Galloway.

FAMILY TRIBUTE

Although Dad came into our lives after we were grown, he was a wonderful, loving father to us.  His love grew and grew as he became a grandfather and then a great-grandfather.  Everyone…and I mean EVERYONE that had the pleasure of getting to know dad, understands how lucky we were to have him in our lives.   He was so very special and he meant the world to our family.
He had a great sense of humor and he brought a smile to everyone he met.  Dad loved his Timmy Horton coffee and chocolate-dipped donuts.  He loved to fish and listen to the Tiger games.  He was patriotic and proud of his service to our country – and we were proud of him!  We, and so many others are better for having had him in our lives.  We love you Dad and although you are gone from this earth, you will live on in each us and in all of those whose lives you touched.  We love you always and will miss you.  May God bless and keep you, until we meet again.
