FAMILY TRIBUTE
Thomas “Tom” Campbell passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25th at Angela Hospice Care Center. In his final days, he was surrounded by his closest family and friends. Every person to walk through those doors had the same thing to say about Tom, “He was such a great man”. Tom was one of those people who could talk to anybody about anything, and never had a mean thing to say about other people. Even through his toughest last 6 months of his life, although highly disliking what was going on, he did not harp on the condition he was in. Tom was a long time Crane Operator and had finally retired from US Steel in 2009. In his free time he loved Trap Shooting at Wayne County Sportsman. He also loved to play golf and was once a member a West Shore Country Club on Grosse Ile in his earlier years. He also loved to go and “Double Up” his money at the Casino; however, rarely did the “Double Up” thing. He enjoyed the time he got to spend with his sisters Carol and Janet, sons Kyle and Kevin, and as much as possible his granddaughter Sadie. Tom was amazing father, friend, and all around person.
Rest peacefully Dad!
